- Brush the pile regularly with a carpet & upholstery brush. If possible avoid vacuuming, it may cause threads to loosen.
- For comfortable use we recommend airing out the unpacked rug for at least a few hours (the best would be one or two days). This allows the natural scent of the material to fade.
- If the rug gets wet, allow it to dry up, away from any heat sources.
- Periodically, turn your rug 180 ̊ to ensure even wear and prevent fading caused by sun exposure.
- Remove any stains immediately using a damp, non-staining cloth. Clean from the edge to the middle of the rug, do not rub.
- To prolong the life of the rug, do not place it in high traffic areas.
- To remove loose dirt and dust, shake the rug out, preferably outside. Place the rug on a cotton cloth and beat it with your hand. Do not use a rug beater as it may damage delicate leather.
- Use only leather recommended cleaners or contact an expert for tough stains removal.
